New types of disinfectant wipes added to inventory

WVU Medicine has added new types of disinfectant wipes to its inventory. In addition to PDI wipes, the organization is now using these disinfectant wipes: DisCide Ultra, Sani-Cloth, Sani-Cloth Plus, Cavi Wipes, and Sono. All disinfectant wipes being used have been approved by Infection Control and are as equally effective as PDI wipes.

Employees are reminded to continue to conserve PPE, including disinfectant wipes, whenever possible. Spray bottle disinfectants are a good alternative to disinfectant wipes and readily available.
