New Wellness Rewards Program has begun

The Wellness Rewards Program is changing for the 2021 plan year and WVU Medicine is partnering with a new vendor, Interactive Health. The new program and vendor will provide you and your covered spouse with tools and resources to gain a better understanding of your health and to achieve your personal wellness goals.

For the 2021 plan year, there will be a change to how the Wellness Rewards Program works and the incentives. There will no longer be a tobacco surcharge nor a reduction in the medical plan deductible. You will be able to save on your medical premium based upon the Tier level you and your covered spouse achieve.

Employees and covered spouses who are currently enrolled in a medical plan should separately register and complete the program activities between May 1 and Sept. 30. The new Wellness Rewards Program is designed so that you can choose activities that you would like to complete, in addition to the certain required activities, to earn points toward each level of incentive.
