New WVU Medicine Children’s video describes opportunities for prospective 'difference-makers'

A new video from WVU Medicine Children’s is not just a recruiting tool to fill more than 500 positions around its mid-2021 opening.

It is a call for difference-makers.

The video features Amy Bush, chief operating officer of WVU Medicine Children’s, and a host of employees in a variety of roles talking about what they love best about working there.

One of the common denominators: Improving lives.

“You might make a small difference or you might make a big difference. But you don't leave work feeling like you didn't help somebody,” Jenni Shahan, pharmacy specialist, said

The hiring is being done in two phases.

In the first phase of hiring, WVU Medicine Children’s is looking for administrators, registered nurses, pharmacists, and Surgical Services staff members.

In early 2021, positions in Facilities, Environmental Services, Nursing Support, Nutrition Services, Respiratory Care, Speech Therapy, Security, and Supply Chain will be posted.
