OT Alumni Innovates, Educates, and Transforms the Future of Healthcare
Meredith Mull, MOT, OTR/L, is working daily to innovate and transform the future of healthcare. A native of Wheeling, West Virginia, Mull graduated from the Division of Occupational Therapy in 2001. She has practiced clinically in a variety of rehabilitation settings, and quickly ascended into leadership roles expanding her knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and management.
Through hands-on experiences with the healthcare system, Mull gained experience in both traditional and emerging healthcare models, particularly value-driven care. She is Certified as an Aging in Place Specialist, HIPPA Privacy Administrator, and in Remote Patient Monitoring. Mull has also continued her educational journal with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with an emphasis on Population Health Management.
Hear her episode of the Healthcare Now Radio Podcast on the topics of virtual patient monitoring, patient engagement, healthcare concierge, and barriers to care.
She currently guest lectures in the Division of Occupational Therapy on the use of digital innovation including digital medicine and digital therapeutics for occupational therapy interventions. As a guest lecturer, Mull provides exposure for occupational therapy students to novel neurotherapeutics including MindMaze. She certainly exemplifies the Mountaineers Go First spirit as she innovates, educates, and transforms the future of healthcare.
