Resources for Living offers free support for employees and family members

Pandemics are stressful and WVU Medicine understands there are times when each of us could use a little extra help. Staying on top of the demands of work, family, finances, child care, and senior care can be difficult, but during a pandemic those issues can be even more challenging. Resources for Living provides responsive and effective counseling to help you balance your personal and professional life. Counseling services are provided by phone, in a counselor’s private office or via televideo, depending on preference.

All counselors are qualified mental health professionals. Some of the areas Resources for Living can help with include:

When you need additional services, Resources for Living works in conjunction with WVU Medicine’s medical insurance plan (if covered) or provides community resources, as needed, to ensure that you are able to resolve your particular issue. Resources for Living is offered in addition to any mental health benefits you may have through your medical plan.
