Rosenbaum Family House to increase room rate

Effective Jan. 1, 2023, Rosenbaum Family House will raise its nightly rate to $30 per night per room. This is the first increase the House has made in nightly fees since 2019.

Family House leadership understands that this increase may have a significant impact on some WVU Medicine patients and families; however, no one is ever turned away for the inability to pay.

Please continue to send referrals for the families who meet the requirements of:

• Patient is age 18 or older
• Lives more than 50 miles away
• Is an inpatient or outpatient with appointments every 48 hours

Family House's 40 rooms fill up quickly. When the House is full, employees work with several local hotels to provide guests with a discounted hotel rate.

Referrals are necessary for hotel discounts, as well as to get a room at Family House.
