Save the date and register for the annual QI Fair to be held February

Rregistration is open for the West Virginia Healthcare Safety, Quality and Experience Improvement Research Day, also known as the QI Fair, on Friday, Feb. 25, in the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center Pylons Commons.

Abstract registrations will be accepted starting Nov. 1 until Jan. 22. Faculty, staff, residents, students, researchers, Advanced Practice Professionals (APPS) nurses, and other non-academic appointments are encouraged to participate. Register online. The deadline to register is Feb. 14.

The research fair is designed to improve outcomes for our patients and their families, while highlighting the research that University researchers, clinical faculty, students and WVU Medicine employees undertake to improve patient safety.

The event is hosted by the WVU School of Medicine, WVU Medicine and WVU Health Sciences and provides a platform for participants to prepare and present oral and poster presentations and meet with fellow researchers from across the system.

Last year, the fair featured more than 70 posters, 10 oral presentations and three speakers from across the WVU Medicine system.
