Talent Acquisition Team offers staffing and recruitment updates
The WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals Talent Acquisition Team, a component of Human Resources, understands the challenges that employees are experiencing through these unprecedented times and is doing everything it can to fill the current vacancies as quickly as possible.
A few key updates:
Over the past two weeks (Aug. 6 and Aug. 20), recruiters have utilized a new platform to complete two virtual hiring events, their first-ever truly virtual events. The events resulted in virtual interviews with 185 candidates in just eight hours.
Recruiters have also sent more than 2,500 LinkedIn messages in 2020 and completed phone interviews with more than 3,500 candidates, resulting in more than 1,500 new employees this year.
Results: WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals now has more than 10,000 active employees, including more than 8,655 full-time employees. Below is a chart that represents the active employee growth trajectory since Jan. 1, 2019:

- Help promote: If part of your education included a school or program that would support a WVU Medicine recruiter speaking to them, reach out to our Talent Acquisition Team to determine if we can partner with that program for "lunch and learn" opportunities.
