Wilderness Medicine organization to offer first aid workshop
The Wilderness and EMS Interest Group in the WVU School of Medicine is proud to present a two part workshop on the trauma patient assessment for first aid and wilderness medicine. The first session will take place Tuesday, Oct. 1, at noon in HSC-North 1905.
This workshop will be taught by a special guest speaker who is a subject matter expert on prehospital care. The session is open to students of any specialty in medicine, and faculty are welcome to join.
Part two of the workshop will be held in the future and will include the use of the trauma patient algorithm on simulated patients.
