Winners of annual Bravo! awards announced

WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals will celebrate its eighth annual Bravo! Awards Ceremony in June.

The awards given that evening celebrate the many extraordinary accomplishments of WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals employees in 2018. These individuals and teams helped to create a stronger and more successful organization, one focused on excellence.

Employees will be recognized in the following categories:

• Bravo! winners who were selected by their peers
• Top Performance Improvement teams
• Highest performing units/clinics, based on Press-Ganey scores
• Top providers, based on Press-Ganey and CG-CAHPS/HCAHPS scores

Two special awards will also presented at the end of the night: The Bravo! Inspiration Award and the Presidential Leadership Award. Both winners are kept secret and revealed that evening.

Albert L. Wright, Jr., president and CEO, and other leaders will present the awards. They will share the stories associated with the nominations during the presentation.
