Work on Gold-South Parking Garage underway

Deck resurfacing and sealing work on levels 4/5, including the uncovered levels, stairwell, and exterior, of the Gold-South Parking Garage will begin on Monday, May 10, and is scheduled to continue through June 10. The schedule and progress are based on the weather.

During this time, there will be no available parking on uncovered levels 4/5.

Employees with a handicap permit will have parking available in the new Mountaineer Station II Parking Garage. A designated shuttle bus will be available for pick up and drop off at the end of the PRT bridge and near the Emergency Department.

Employees with 35-year parking permits who park on uncovered levels 4/5 will need to park in any other employee lot during the construction time period, including the garages that provide shuttles. The Security Department will be reaching out to those who normally park on uncovered levels 4/5 to ensure awareness of this temporary closing.
