WVU in the News: WVU researcher uses ChatGPT to teach coding
Gangqing “Michael” Hu, associate professor with the West Virginia University School of Medicine Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Cell Biology recently explained how students can utilize ChatGPT to code in bioinformatics. Hu was able to capitalize on the workflows within the chatbot to teach students how to tweak chatbot prompts for optimal responses and ensure accuracy. Hu discussed this work in the State Journal and the journal Nature.
