WVU Medicine and Health Sciences accepting research abstracts for first West Virginia Healthcare Safety, Quality and Experience Improvement Research Day

WVU Medicine and Health Sciences will host the first annual West Virginia Healthcare Safety, Quality and Experience Improvement Day on May 18 in the Okey Patteson Auditorium and Pylons area.

The conference has been established to share expertise and experience in creating meaningful change in practices and organizations across the region. Abstract poster and oral presentations will include discussions on each topic.

Registration is available through the link below and participants are encouraged to submit research project abstracts by Friday, April 7. Abstract entries for quality improvement projects should cover the following topics:

  • Healthcare safety improvement
  • Performance improvement
  • Healthcare experience improvement (patients, families and staff)
