WVU Medicine Children’s recognizes Patient Safety Awareness Week

This week, WVU Medicine Children’s recognized Patient Safety Awareness Week. Activities were held that educated and encouraged employees to build upon a culture that promotes healthcare safety.

During the week, activities and displays were set up on each of the Children’s Hospital units to remind frontline and support employees about the importance of creating the safest environment possible for patients. Employees who voted for the top quality and safety phrase were eligible to win a daily prize.
