WVU Medicine Otolaryngology welcomes Director of Audiology, Benjamin Boss, AuD
Benjamin Boss, AuD, will adapt to the role as Director of Audiology for WVU Medicine and the Department of Otolaryngology in the beginning of September. Boss has been practicing at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Eye and Ear Institute since 2014.
He received his doctorate in audiology from Arizona State University. His special interests include cochlear implant assessment and programming, tinnitus retraining therapy, diagnostic testing, hearing aids, assistive listening devices and hearing protection.
In addition to working at UPMC, Boss was also an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh. During his time there he taught the clinical procedures and implantables in clinical practice courses. He is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is licensed by the state of West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
