WVU Medicine Tuesday Talks: LUCAS mobile lung cancer screening

More than 25 percent of West Virginia adults smoke, so the need to detect lung cancer in its earliest stages is of the utmost importance. That’s where LUCAS, WVU Medicine’s new mobile lung cancer screening program, comes in. LUCAS is designed to travel to locations closer to patients and hopefully provide early enough detection to stop the disease before it progresses. This WVU Medicine Tuesday Talk features  Kyle Chapman, MD, medical director, who discusses the mobile system’s state-of-the-art lung cancer screening technology.
