WVU Medicine University Healthcare Physicians to host flu shot clinics

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – WVU Medicine University Healthcare Physicians is hosting three Flu Shot Clinics in October. Clinics will take place at locations in Martinsburg, Spring Mills and Harpers Ferry and flu shots will be available for $15.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone six months and older receive the influenza vaccine early each fall before flu season typically begins in the United States. The flu vaccine is particularly important for adults 65 and older, pregnant women, young children and people with certain chronic diseases, including diabetes and heart disease.
