WVU Hospitals seeks to boost employee engagement with new Employee Experience Board

WVU Hospitals is seeking employees to serve on a newly-formed Employee Experience Board to promote a sense of community and the improvement of the overall employee experience.

Selected Board members will represent J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, WVU Medicine Children's, and Fairmont Medical Center; each hospital will have its own board. They will directly contribute to the organization's culture through a shared decision-making process and will work cohesively with existing departments, teams, and programs to enhance the culture.

An Advisory Council will oversee the selection process and support each Board, which will feature a wide range of clinical and non-clinical employees, including non-union and union employees, varying shifts, locations, years of service, departments, teams, specialties, and ambulatory clinics, as well as diverse backgrounds.

Members will elect committee chairs, set annual goals, and undertake employee experience projects and initiatives. Apply at: https://form.jotform.com/223455934212150. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 15.

Employees should note that membership is voluntary, but candidates must be approved by a manager and are expected to attend monthly meetings and serve one- and two-year terms. Employees cannot be at a management or higher level and cannot have level two discipline or higher. Elected members of the Board will work collaboratively with and report to the Advisory
Council on a quarterly basis.
