M2M Summer Camp
The WVU Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine is excited to announce its first high school-tailored summer camp! The Molecules to Medicine (M2M) Camp will be held July 19–24, 2026.
Mission: Expose enthusiastic West Virginia high school students to careers in the health sciences and cutting-edge research to inspire them to become West Virginia’s own future scientists and healthcare professionals right here at home!

To maintain an intimate and high-quality learning environment, enrollment is capped at 12 students. Admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage early registration to secure your place. The program fee is $2,500, with a limited number of scholarships available for those who qualify.
Eligibility Criteria:

Be a rising junior or senior in high school.

Attend a high school or be homeschooled to the required academic level in WV.

Have earned a B or better in science and math classes.

Demonstrate excitement for science! No previous research experience is required.
Students who are underrepresented in science—including people with disabilities, those from financially disadvantaged or underserved backgrounds, or those who would be the first in their family to attend college—are particularly encouraged to apply!
Applications will open at 10am on Monday, March 9th.
