Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Students can engage in research via various research tracks:

Freshmen and sophomores are eligible for the Research Apprenticeship Program (RAP), 297 courses
Juniors and Seniors are eligible for the Experiential and Community Engaged Learning (EXCEL) Program
Capstone thesis research project, (BIOL) 386 and 486 courses
Undergraduate research, 497 courses

In rare cases, students could be directly hired by a lab into a part-time position.
