Our Fellowships

• Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship

  The Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship program is a one-year multi-modality imaging fellowship at the West Virginia University Heart & Vascular Institute.

• Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship

  The goal of the Cardiology Fellowship is to educate a board eligible internist to become a competent, caring, and compassionate board-certified cardiologist who provides quality care to patients.

• Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship

  Fellows can anticipate learning from faculty who evaluated more than 20,000+ patients and performed more than 1,000 procedures across the WVU Medicine system in 2023.

• Heart Failure Fellowship

  The Advanced Heart Failure Program is West Virginia’s first and only multidisciplinary heart failure team specializing in advanced therapies including mechanical support and heart transplantation.

• Interventional Cardiology Fellowship

  The purpose of the interventional cardiology training program is to prepare its trainees to function at a high level of clinical performance in interventional cardiology.

• Structural Heart Disease Fellowship

  The Structural Heart Program is a multidisciplinary team that specializes in diseases of the heart valves, walls, and chambers.
