Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus, washed, trimmed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- Ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and equipment.
- Slice asparagus in half on the bias, set aside.
- Place a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the olive oil to the pan and swirl the pan to coat the bottom with olive oil.
- Add asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender, add the garlic to the pan and stir occasionally to prevent it from burning.
- To the pan, add the lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper and toss everything together. Continue to cook for 30 second, remove from heat and serve.
