Serving communities in West Virginia and surrounding areas, the WVU Department of Medicine Division of Nephrology offers comprehensive training to future physicians and high-quality care for patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases. Our expert physicians, faculty, residents and fellows work together to address a variety of illnesses, including hypertension, electrolyte disorders, metabolic stone disease and end-stage kidney failure. We also offer compassionate care and treatment for patients requiring kidney replacement therapy in the form of dialysis or kidney transplantation.
