Candidate Eligibility Requirements

Eligible candidates shall have completed an ACGME residency in neurology, psychiatry, internal medicine, or family medicine. Additionally, candidates shall have passed all steps of the USMLE or COMLEX exams or have the ability to pass all steps prior to the start of fellowship. Please reference the West Virginia University School of Medicine eligibility policy at the link below.

Please note the WV SOM only sponsors J1 visas for residents and fellows. Other visa types including H1B are not eligible for sponsorship.
