The WVU Department of Neurosurgery and the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute is a world leader in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. Our world-renowned faculty lead a very busy clinical schedule as well as multiple first-in-human clinical trials. Our fellows play an integral role in work of the functional neurosurgical group and are exposed to the full spectrum of functional neurosurgery as well as emerging and cutting-edge techniques and technologies. 

The fellowship program is approved by the Committee on Advanced Subspecialty Training (CAST) and accepts applications from board-eligible neurosurgeons who successfully complete residency prior to beginning the fellowship.
