Introduction

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences was established to advance the health and wellbeing of the women of West Virginia and surrounding Region. We accomplish this by supporting the programmatic initiatives of our faculty and staff in the areas of patient care, education, and research. We are committed to providing quality health care services to all women; educating health care providers; and conducting research to advance our understanding of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Our faculty are nationally respected and board certified. Along with excellent patient care, our goal is to provide excellent service to each of our patients. Every member of the Obstetrics & Gynecology team is committed to providing friendly, efficient, and respectful care.

We are especially known for our care of women with high risk pregnancies and advanced Gynecologic problems. Our high risk pregnancy physicians are backed-up by the largest NICU in the state while our gynecologic surgeons are trained in advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
