About Us

The WVU Department of Orthopaedics provides state-of-the-art care to adults and children. Our clinical expertise, combined with cutting-edge technology, enables us to provide excellent services for a wide range of orthopaedic disorders and injuries. Our goal is to heal and help through surgery, medication, rehabilitation, or a combination of several therapies.

Our faculty are nationally respected and fellowship-trained, but we emphasize more than surgical expertise. Along with excellent patient care, our goal is to provide excellent service to each of our patients. Every member of the Orthopaedics team is committed to providing friendly, efficient, and respectful care.

Our Orthopaedics clinic is located on the 2nd floor of the Physician Office Center, conveniently attached to Ruby Memorial Hospital. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. — 5 p.m. Patients should call the clinic during regular hours at 304-598-4830 to schedule an appointment. Mission and Goals

It is my pleasure to introduce to you the Department of Orthopaedics at West Virginia University! With the recruitment and hiring of new physicians, we are in a major growth initiative. We are reaching our goal of expertise in all sub-specialty areas of Orthopaedics, including spine, total joint replacement, sports medicine, foot and ankle, hand, pediatrics, trauma, and musculoskeletal oncology. Our faculty are fellowship trained and respected nationally, but we emphasize more than surgical expertise-our mission is to provide excellence in patient care and customer service in the delivery of that care whether you need operative or non-operative treatment for a musculoskeletal problem. Our physician assistants, secretaries, and staff are committed to helping you in a friendly, efficient manner looking at how we do business from the viewpoint of you, the customer.

We are an integral part of the West Virginia University Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center and Ruby Memorial Hospital, which means cutting edge services available to us as physicians and you as a patient. Our outpatient locations include the Physician Office Center attached to Ruby Memorial Hospital and the WVU Sports Medicine Center located in the Healthworks Building at 943 Maple Drive. Our phone numbers are provided for scheduling appointments, for questions for specific physicians or their secretaries, or whatever else you may need.

We look forward to servicing Morgantown, the State of West Virginia, and surrounding regions.
