Service to the State

The Reach Out and Read Program encourages life long learning as well as a love of reading in children at a young age. By reading to young children, we encourage them to read stories for themselves, nurturing interests and encouraging them.

The Pediatric Department at West Virginia University provides this service to children in our units and clinics. The Reach Out and Read Program also provides books to children.
