About Marissa

Marissa Lipscomb is from Morgantown, WV. She is a junior in the Immunology and Medical Microbiology program. Marissa chose WVU, because she has grown up with such a strong physical and familial connection to the university. Couple that with the fact that WVU has one of the only Immunology & Medical Microbiology programs in the country - it was meant to be! She plans to go to medical school to become an anesthesiologist as she enjoys and finds fascinating the complex and critical role this doctor plays in the OR.
