2023 an extraordinary journey for WVU Medicine Children's

The 2023 WVU Medicine Childrens Annual Report highlights the successes of the Division of Pediatric Urology. Under the guidance of Osama Al-Omar, MD, MBA, FACS, Professor and Division. Chief, the Division continues its excellence as a Top 50 Program as recognized by US News and World Report. The Division’s highly acclaimed telemedicine programs are also highlighted. Together with Ahmed Ali, MD, Assistant Professor, outpatient clinic and surgical volume continue to grow each year. The Department is so proud of these efforts.

2023 was an extraordinary journey for WVU Medicine Children’s. The hospital continued its mission to build healthier futures for our children by growing to reach more areas of the state and region.

While doing that, our Centers of Excellence maintained the level of world-class care our patients expect and our providers were on the leading edge of innovation.
