Celebration of Life Honoring Ronald L. Cleavenger, M.D.

Ronald L. Cleavenger, M.D., an alum of the West Virginia University School of Medicine and former physician for WVU Student Health and Department of Family Medicine, passed away December 13, 2022 in Charleston, South Carolina at the age of 77.

A celebration of life service will be held on April 16, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Erickson Alumni Center for those who wish to attend.

Dr. Cleavenger passionate supported all WVU sports, spending time as a sports physician for WVU during the Don Nehlen and Gail Catlett eras. He also treasured his family, which can be exemplified in his genealogy work and time spent with his loved ones.
