Easy as pie: WVCTSI moving to new service request system

Easy as pie: WVCTSI moving to new service request system

Over the coming weeks, WVCTSI will be transitioning its service request platform from iLab to Piestar.  Use of Piestar for WVCTSI service requests will begin on December 15.

This move will harmonize evaluation and service tracking processes with requests, while also simplifying the entire process for users. WVCTSI’s membership database is also now integrated with the service request and evaluation mechanisms for a more streamlined experience.

Requests made in iLab prior to December 15 will be processed and a team member will be in touch about next steps for those requests. Please do not submit duplicate entries in both systems.

In Piestar, WVCTSI members will be able to submit an initial request for general support, lab technology, clinical trials or pilot grant inquiries. Those requests will then be routed to the appropriate team member and specific system for follow up. WVCTSI membership is required to request services. If you are not a member, you can sign up here.

Instructions and links will be available on WVCTSI’s service request webpage. Questions can be directed to Meg Hardman at mehaller@hsc.wvu.edu.

Piestar e-mails will come from “Piestar Support Team.” They are safe to open. Also, be sure to check your Junk/Spam/Clutter folders if you are not receiving the e-mails in your inbox.
