Hussein Jaffal joins Department of Otolaryngology

Hussein Jaffal, M.D., has joined the West Virginia University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Jaffal’s area of expertise is all ear, nose and throat conditions in children with special interest in diseases of the upper airway, voice disorders, swallowing conditions, pediatric neck masses and vascular anomalies.

Jaffal’s training includes completing residency at American University of Beirut followed by two pediatric fellowships from University of Alberta and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

He began to see patients on Thursday, July 22 and will see patients at the Physician Office Center at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and Suncrest Towne Centre in Morgantown.
