Primary care providers invited to participate in research study

The School of Public Health and Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics is inviting primary care providers to be a part of a research study focused on pancreatic cancer in Appalachia.

This research consists of a short survey (five to six questions) followed by an interview session which may be virtual or in-person and is expected to take 45 to 60 minutes. The purpose of this research study is to inform clinical practice surrounding detection, diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer where primary care providers are involved in direct patient care in West Virginia. Your participation could help advise current and future management of pancreatic cancer.

To be eligible for the study, participants must be primary care providers and practicing medicine in West Virginia at the time of the study.

If you have any questions about this study and would like to participate, email Melissa M. Elder at mme00005@mix.wvu.edu.
