WVUCIPM highlighted in Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy study

The West Virginia University Center for Integrative Pain Management was recently featured in a case study published by the Duke University Margolis Center for Health Policy. Entitled “Exemplary Integrated Pain Management Programs,” the case-study examines why the center is a successful model for others to follow.

The study keyed on a few key highlights of the program: buy in from strong state and organizational leadership, co-location of services, case managers to help patients navigate the services offered, and pain assessment measures that help patients meet individual goals.
