Scholarly Activity

Scholarly activity is key to our aim of encouraging a culture of discovery and excellence through research, scholarship, and quality improvement projects. This includes education in the history of human subjects research, program scholarship retreats held each fall in the beautiful WV mountains, Grand Rounds participation and presentation, quality improvement, journal club, teaching opportunities with medical students, and production of a scholarly product. Faculty mentors facilitate reaching goals of scholarship, which are be tailored to meet the individual goals of our trainees.
