The following information is provided for individuals who wish to apply to the Master of Science (MS) in medical laboratory science. Please note that admissions and curriculum requirements are subject to change without prior notice.

Admissions Process and Timeline
Applications and recommendations for the Master of Science (MS) in medical laboratory science are due each year by September 1 for the class beginning the following January. The application is available online, and students should review the following admissions requirements carefully to ensure they include all required materials and transcripts.
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited U.S college or university*
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Completion of required prerequisite courses:
- 12 credit hours of chemistry (including one course in organic or biochemistry)
- 12 credit hours of biological sciences (including one course in microbiology)
- 3 credit hours of college algebra or higher
- Written statement of goals that clearly identifies how admission to the program will facilitate the applicant's professional goals
- Résumé
- Two letters of recommendation
Qualified applicants will be interviewed by the Admissions Committee.
*Excluding applicants that have completed a NAACLS-accredited medical laboratory science program.
