About the ACGME-Accredited Fellowship

Part of WVU Medicine, which is a vertically integrated health care system serving all of West Virginia and contiguous states.
The EP fellowship would be based at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, the WVU Medicine flagship, quaternary care facility.
One EP fellow will be selected per year for this compulsory two-year fellowship. The inaugural candidate will thus be the sole fellow for 1 year.
Very high clinical volume.
Academic, multidisciplinary faculty.
State of the art imaging, interventional/structural heart and cardiac surgery
programs.
Mechanical circulatory support and
cardiac transplantation.
Affiliated, geographically connected children’s hospital and pediatric EP program

Fellows can anticipate learning from faculty who evaluated more than 20,000+ patients and performed more than 1,000 procedures across the WVU Medicine system in 2023.
