Ingredients
- 2 lbs ham, sliced and on-bone
- 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
- 3 cups ham broth or water
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 cans potatoes (whole or sliced)
- 2 cans green beans
- 1 can carrots
Instructions
- In a 6–8-qt crock pot add ham on its side, chopped cabbage and broth or water and pepper. Cover and allow to cook on high for 2 hours or until cabbage is tender.
- Remove lid and add remaining ingredients, cover and allow to continue cooking for an additional 30-50 minutes on high heat.
- When ready, remove lid and separate ham from bone and discard bone.
- Serve up in bowls with equal portions of veggies and meat.
