Didactics
The Medical Education and Administration Fellowship at WVU leverages the expertise of medical education leaders from the Department of Emergency Medicine, throughout the WVU School of Medicine, as well as nationally recognized thought leaders in the field to provide fellows with engaging, cutting edge didactics spanning the breadth of medical education and administration. Fellows are protected from clinical responsibilities to attend all didactic sessions, which occur every other Thursday afternoon for two hours.
Fellows also meet with program leadership every other week to discuss progress in the fellowship, review progress on their scholarly projects, and engage in discussions surrounding landmark and emerging articles in medical education. These meetings help fellows connect with program leadership outside of conference time and have meaningful discussions that add to their knowledge and toolkit in medical education.
