Specialty Tracks
The WVU Family Medicine Residency Program offers specialized learning tracks that provide residents the opportunity to develop specific skills in focus areas, or “tracks”, to be cultivated longitudinally during each year of training. Tracks will not only allow residents to become experts in each learning area, but also create a more competitive landscape for residents after graduation for employment or if they desire to pursue fellowship opportunities. The following are the specialty tracks our program is offering or currently developing:
- Addiction Medicine
- Academic Medicine
- Geriatrics
- Maternal Child Care
- Ultrasound
- Sports Medicine
