Obstetrics-Night Float

OB Night Float is a one-block rotation at Ruby Memorial Hospital Maternal Infant Care Center.  During the rotation, you are part of the night float labor and delivery team alongside OB/GYN residents and faculty.  You will become proficient in managing patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum period.  As an integral member of the smaller night float team, you will further develop skills performing common obstetrical procedures including external fetal monitoring interpretation, internal fetal monitoring device placement, vaginal deliveries, circumcisions, and assisting with cesarean sections.
