Items in Demand

MUSHROOM attempts to match services with both the seasonal and individual needs of clients. The following items are consistently in high demand:

  • Socks (new, white cotton as well as thermal)
  • Cotton underwear for men and women
  • Antiseptic hand gel
  • Hand lotion (small sizes)
  • anti-fungal creams
  • Hydrocortisone cream
  • Gloves
  • Toboggans
  • Thermal Underwear (tops & bottoms)
  • Chemical hand warmer

Monetary donations are also essential for providing more specialized needs including the purchase of cold weather sleeping bags, antibiotics, wound care items, and foot care products.

Items we cannot accept:

Due to very limited storage space, we cannot accept clothing/shoes.  Please take items like this to Christian Help instead. Their address is 219 Walnut Street in Morgantown.
