M.D. Admissions
As a student in the West Virginia University School of Medicine (WVU SoM), you will have access to study and work in the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center, a large, modern medical complex that also includes the Schools of Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health. The Health Sciences campus is comprised of three hospitals, a physician office building, and state-of-the-art cancer, heart and vascular, and eye centers. The medical degree program serves approximately 450 students with a variety of educational offerings, and WVU SoM faculty provide advanced clinical care to more than 100,000 West Virginians throughout the state. With three campuses located in Morgantown, Charleston, and Eastern our students have the opportunity to serve all areas of this beautiful state.
