Pediatric and Adolescent Interest Group (PAIG)
Mission
The Pediatrics and Adolescent Interest Group will be created to meet the interests and needs of medical students at West Virginia University School of Medicine who are interested in the field of pediatrics. In coordination with the mission of the West Virginia University Department of Pediatrics and the West Virginia University Children's Health Center, the goals of the Pediatrics and Adolescent Interest Group are as follows:
to provide a meeting place for the teaching, learning, and discussion of issues relating to pediatrics;
to promote professional relationships between medical students, resident physicians, attending physicians, and pediatric staff; and
to encourage involvement in community service that benefits the West Virginia University Children's Health Center.
Join us for monthly meetings that give you an opportunity to meet with physicians in the field of pediatrics.
Keep an eye out for the volunteering opportunities and events we will have throughout the year!
