Mission
Fostering greater student interest in the field of Neurology
Promoting greater student awareness of opportunities in the field of Neurology
Providing students with opportunities to participate in activities related to the field of Neurology, including: discussions by Neurologists, patient presentations, and arranged shadowing of Neurologists in the workplace
Given the youth of our organization, we look forward to receiving any ideas or suggestions that all of our new members may be willing to contribute.

Bylaws
Any student currently enrolled in the West Virginia University School of Medicine is eligible for membership.
SIGN will meet every other month during the school year, and more often if so necessary.
SIGN will be governed by an elected body of medical students that consists of a president and a vice president.
Officers will be elected at the last meeting of each year by the members of SIGN. The group may decide to have a Secretary, Treasurer and Service Chair at their discretion.
SIGN will work closely with a faculty sponsor in the Department of Neurology
