The WVU advanced endoscopy fellow exclusively trains at the Advanced Center for Endoscopy (ACE), located at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital (aka, West Virginia University Hospital) in Morgantown, WV. ACE consists of three dedicated advanced endoscopy procedure rooms, each with built-in fluoroscopy (Omega Medical Imaging). J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is the flagship hospital of the WVU Medicine Health System, which consists of 21+ member system hospitals (and growing). J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is the only true tertiary care facility in West Virginia. More than 30,000 patients per year are seen in this facility. The construction and recent opening (October 2022) of WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital has increased the total number of beds to 840 (690 adult beds). The adjacent Physician Office Center provides clinical space for our outpatient clinic appointments.
