Education and Conferences

  • Didactic conferences are held weekly on Tuesday afternoons

  • Journal Club is held once a month

  • Board Review Conferences are held once a month

  • Clinical Case Conferences & Communication Workshops are held frequently throughout the year

  • WVCTSI Fellows Research Academy is held twice monthly

  • Division Teaching Sessions are held once a month

  • Internal Medicine Grand Rounds is held every Friday 12pm-1pm

All fellows will be encouraged to attend one professional conference per year which can include the Annual American Geriatrics Society Annual Scientific Meeting. Educational stipend provided to all fellows for educational travel/conferences and educational resources.
