Program Design
The fellow participates in a one-year period of training in all fields of neuroradiology. There is no set rotation schedule and all areas of curricular emphasis will be experienced by the fellow continuously throughout the year of training.
The fellow will be exposed to new and evolving techniques such as perfusion imaging (CTP and MRP), MR spectroscopy, diffusion weighted imaging (DWI), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), fMRI and PET.
The fellow will interpret non-invasive and invasive catheter-based cervico-cerebral angiography and participate in catheter-based angiography and pre- and post-procedural care of patients undergoing angiography.
Research time is incorporated into the rotation schedule. There is no set time for a research elective.
