The section of Pediatric Cardiology supports our patient population on the Children’s Hospital campus and throughout the state through our robust outreach program which includes outpatient clinics with diagnostic testing. We currently have specialists in the areas of fetal cardiology, general pediatric cardiology, advanced imaging, interventional catheterization, noninvasive and invasive electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, and preventative cardiology.

WVU Medicine Children's Heart Center Division of Pediatric Cardiology serves patients on the Children's Hospital campus and throughout the state through our robust pediatric cardiology outreach program that includes outreach clinics in Beckley, Charleston, Glenville, Huntington, Lewisburg, Martinsburg, Parkersburg, Princeton, Summersville, and Wheeling. We currently have specialists in the areas of fetal cardiology, general pediatric cardiology, advanced imaging, interventional catheterization, noninvasive and invasive electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, and preventative cardiology.
The Children’s Preventive Cardiology Clinic provides consultative services for children who have severe dyslipidemia and their parents. The multidisciplinary clinic team includes pediatric cardiologists, nutrition counselors, exercise physiologists, and genetic counselors. Separate pacemaker and arrhythmia clinics are held for pediatric patients.
Urgent patients will be seen within 48 hours. Emergency patients are seen immediately.
